Other side of it, is: Imagine, that you are doing something too much. Anything. And you see a person who does this even more than you. It feels good to tell him that he is doing that thing too much, he should stop.

Best way is to ignore them. I don't mean the /ignore command, i mean, dont take their insultations seriously.

I agree with you but what 99% of the people that tell Star he doesnt have a life don't realise that more then one person played on that acc and that he did not get all the fame himself. But what people also need to realise is that everytime star went into ha they had 200+ fame runs.

Just ignore the people telling you to get a life because as stated before they are just insecure about how much there life sucks.

People who use the insult are usually really immature, young or both. They don't realise what they're saying doesn't really make sense not only that but they never really know who they're saying it to, anything about that person at all. I find it annoying when it happens to me, I just ignore it or if I'm in a weird mood I'll say something back and make them shut up because usually they can't think of anything other than "get a life" a few times after I've said something back, they'll ignore me and spam me with senseless idiotic bullshit and I'll just report them. Gg :]

tbh I generally ignore everyone apart from the ppl I play with or know in game, if ppl are polite I respond politely, if ppl are rude I ignore them, as no matter what you say you cannot argue with a retard or someone who thinks they are right 100% of the time

"Get a life" is just a jealous reaction to someone who out GW's a person. If you are better at the game you must be a no lifer according to them to justify their failures. Another one is people calling everyone kids. In four years I have meet maybe two 14 year old kids. The average age of my guild of 14 is 41 and when I had 80 members it was 30ish yet I've been called a fourteen year old kid many times.

I admit I have no life right now, but it wont be like this forever. But one thing is for sure, I don't insult people telling them to get a life, or anything alike of that. It's ridiculous and a pathetic insult. If they were wanting a healer, they shouldn't have pushed you over the edge as you're trying to enjoy a great game.

Pugs like that can ruin a game, if you let them get to you.

Seriously, people these days have a short attention span (notice how games have gone from the "time played" selling point going from 100+ hours down to 20 hours or so?).. who read 1 or 2 "guides" on how to play, what skill setup to use, etc and then go with it... or don't even bother to take the time to read the skills, read guides, learn how to actually play the game and just do whatever...

And then if anyone actually dares to try and "help" them... they won't accept that.. because it means that they might actually have to "think" about things and might actually "learn" something... your challenging their right to just "play" the game and to hell with actually playing well or smart or anything (that's too much effort!)
